Hours & Admission
Tate House is open to the public for guided tours June – October.
One-hour tours are offered during our open season, Wednesday-Saturday, every hour on the hour from 10am-4 pm (last tour at 3 pm).
Tour tickets are required for house entry and can be purchased in advance or on-site at our Visitors Center, the James Means House, located at at 1267 Westbrook Street in Portland.
ADULTS $17 | SENIORS (65+) $15 | CHILDREN 6-12 $8 | CHILDREN 5 & UNDER FREE
Guided Tour Tickets
Tours are limited to eight people and can sell out, especially in July and August, so advance purchase is encouraged. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your chosen tour time.
Parking is free and easily available on the street or in a nearby dirt lot.
Our garden and grounds are open to the public for respectful viewing year-round. For specific use of our spaces, please email our director Holly K. Hurd.

Treat yourself at the museum shop, located at our Means House Visitors Center at 1267 Westbook Street in Portland, across the road from Tate House.
